What does a Podiatrist do?
Podiatrist are highly skilled health professionals trained to deal with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitaiton of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs. Podiatrist have completeted a Bachelor of Podiatry or higher degree and are continually upgrading their skills and knowledge through further education and training.
Am I covered by Medicare or Private Health Fund?
Podiatry Services and procedures are only covered by a Private Health Fund and you can claim part of your consultation and/or procedure depending on your level of cover.
There is however a Program by the Medicare system for chronic Medical Conditions where you may be able to claim part of your consultation from Medicare. You need a special referral from your GP if you meet the criteria to be able to claim from Medicare.
Does my Private Health Fund cover all the costs?
You will receive part rebate from your health fund depending on your level of Extras. We are registered with all Private Health Fund Providers.
Do I need a referral from my GP to consult a Podiatrist?
No. You do not require a referral to consult a Podiatrist. However if you an eligible EPC (Medicare), Workers Compensation or Veterans' Affairs patient then we do require a referral from your GP on your first consultation.

Tuesday 10:00am - 7:00pm
Wednesday 09:00 - 2:00pm
Saturday 8:00am - 02:00pm
Is there Parking on Premises and how do I get into the building?
Off Street parking Only. Our entrance is on wellbank street, next to laverty pathology. We are located on level 1. You will need to press the intercom button that is marked concord foot clinic (top right button). You can then proceed to the lift and press level 1 and we are there. The lift is big enough to easily fit a wheelchair or prams.
