ABOUT US

Concord Foot Clinic was conceived to provide a modern, comprehensive podiatry services to the inner west of Sydney. We pride ourselves in providing a friendly and professional service to our clients.  Our Current Principal Podiatrists/Directors Ahmad Banai and James Teo has been servicing the Hills District for many years and are committed to providing the same level of service and care to Inner West of Sydney. Concord Foot Clinic is an accredited practice and associated with Australian Podiatry Association, Diabetes Australia and Sports Medicine Australia.

Meet The Team

Dr Ahmad Banai

Principal Podiatrist/Director

Ahmad Banai graduated from a B.App.Sci (Podiatric Medicine) from the University Of Western Sydney in 2004. He started his career working under the tutelage of a Podiatric Surgeon and Horsnby Hospital High Risk foot department. 

 

Ahmad enjoys his profession with a well rounded interest in all aspects of Podiatry with special interest in Lower Limb Biomechanics, Paediatrics, Sports Specific Orthotic solution and Surgery.

 

Ahmad has recently completed a graduate certificate in Podiatric Therapeutics through Queensland University of Tecnology and is endorsment in the use of scheduled medicines to treat and manage podiatric conditions. Ahmad is among few Podiatrist in NSW with Prescribing rights.

 

Ahmad enojys keeping active and daily takes part in Cross-Fit, Pilates, and Martial arts.

Dr James Teo

Principal Podiatrist/Director

James Teo graduated in Podiatry from Curtin University. He started his career working with the National University Hospital (Singapore) where he became the consulting podiatrist to the Orthopaedics and Paediatrics departments in the hospital. He went on to become a senior Podiatrist with the high risk foot clinic of Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, where he also acted as the clinical supervisor for the university clinical program.

 

James also has special interests in children's foot conditions and has published a paper regarding rotational disorders in children's legs. He also has interest in sports podiatry and has performed many surgical procedures in his career. James has completed a Master Degree and has advanced qualifications in paediatrics, biomechanics and podiatric medicine.

In his free time, James enjoys playing basketball, and is an active member in the Hills District Dads basketball group. James is also fluent in Mandarin.

Dr Siobhan Kelly

Podiatrist

Siobhan graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. She has a passion for biomechanics, movement and helping others. Siobhan has a strong knowledge of footwear, working at The Athletes Foot for 5 years throughout university.

​

She enjoys keeping active and takes part in F45 daily as well as competitive netball. In her spare time Siobhan enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.

​

Siobhan's primary goal is to incorporate her knowledge of anatomy, passion for health and love of Podiatry to provide the ultimate treatment and optimise wellness.

Dr Kelvin Luu

Podiatrist

Kelvin graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelors degree in Podiatric Medicine. Kelvin enjoys and revels in all aspects of podiatry, from general and surgical podiatry, to biomechanics and pediatric podiatry, but stemming from his keen interest in cardio training and personal experiences with having to deal with injury and rehabilitation, he has a developed a special interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and pain management. Adding to his university training, Kelvin also has 4 years of experience as an expert shoe fitter with the The Athlete's Foot, garnering him extensive knowledge of performance footwear which he uses to further help in his patients recovery process. However, Kelvin is also a firm believer in the importance of practicing podiatry holistically and integrates all facets of podiatry into his management plans. In his free time he enjoys training in the different disciplines of the triathlon and chasing personal bests.

Brenda Rowley

Practice Manager

Brenda is our practice manager who has been with us for over 15 years. Brenda brings an abundance of experience in all fields of management and customer service. She makes sure that the practices run smoothly everyday of the week and most importantly she keeps all our podiatrist busy and on their toes. Every successful business has great staff and team members around them and we are truly blessed to have Brenda in our team. Brenda is also a loving mother and grandmother who loves nothing more than a cup of tea and a good chat with her daughter.

Brenda is a big fan of the  holistic and organic approach. You can't go pass her home remedies (hint - coconut oil and magnesium).
